We look at both on the same visit when the house has been empty for months and the owner wants it ready.
Fingal is a small enclave close to Portsea and Point Nepean National Park. Homes used seasonally often need the lights proved before summer, not after someone arrives in the dark. We test the circuits, note outdoor fittings that corrosion has marked, and replace the ones you want done on that visit. The number of houses here is small, so the pass is for the property in front of us.
Limited network access and any isolated or off-grid supply are recorded before a large lighting run is added. We do not hang a row of new downlights on a board that has no spare way.
